Catalyst Academics is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) Academy founded by professors and researchers of Technology Education and STEAM Education. Our team is dedicated to providing an engaging and interactive STEAM education for kids that is informed by the latest research in the field.

We believe that our approach, which combines the Next Generation Science Standards, Common Core Math, and New York State Digital Fluency standards with hands-on, inquiry-based learning and engineering challenges, would be a valuable addition to your school district.

In addition to the academic benefits of our program, we also recognize the importance of developing Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) skills in young learners and believe that STEAM Education, with its focus on reflection, creative problem-solving, and self-efficacy is a natural complement to SEL education. To that end, we infuse the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) Five Social Emotional Learning Competencies into all of our activities, helping students to build self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
